6th Bakery Fair 2011

It's been a while I posted... :)

Last February 20th, I had a chance for a "sweet escape" to the 6th Bakery Fair 2011 held at the World Trade Center, Pasay city.

It showcased some of the Filipino-Chinese entrepreneurs in the Baking and Pastry

industry.

For an Entrance fee of P100.00 per person, we had a glimpse of the competitors of the Cake decorating Competition not to mention there are some entries for the Bread artistry competition.

Upon entering the exhibition hall, the fair celebrates the Year of the Rabbit. There was a huge rabbit statue at the front and few bunnies on the floor. :)

The aisle full of gorgeous tiered cakes caught our attention. We just can't help but appreciate such edible beauties. One shot after another, its just a perfect avenue for shutter bugs that ventures into food photography.

This event featured great finds from ingredients to finished products from both international companies and local enterprises all over the metro and even from other provinces. We enjoyed sampling all the pastries and had a glance on some on-the-spot demos for bread making.

There are also non-edible finds like food processing machines, charcoal stoves, brick ovens, catering equipments, utensils, and many more... I even had a chance to buy a mini cotton candy maker, its a perfect gadget on house parties especially for kids and kids-at-heart. :)
