Waterfalls Number 1

Yes, people of Bolinao just numbered the waterfalls. There is two waterfalls in the area, 1 and 2. The tricycle driver do not know if there is any local name for the falls other than the number. haha.

Entrance Fee: NONE
What to expect: There is a stairway leading to the view deck down the falls. Swimming is prohibited; there were foreigners drowned while swimming at the back of the falls.
Notes: Area is located prior to reaching Bolinao town proper. Better to go here before Bolinao town if you are using a private vehicle.

Waterfalls number 2

Entrance Fee: NONE
What to expect: Most of the locals go here for swimming and picnics. There are open cottages for rent, free use of grill. A steep muddy trail going down the falls.
Notes: 15 minutes rough road ride from the Waterfalls 1. When staying here, keep all your trash and keep the place neat.

Bolinao Marine Laboratory

Entrance Fee: NONE
What to expect: They culture gigantic clams and made sure that they have stable population growth.
Notes: The guard did not allowed us to go inside as it is beyond office hours.

We are leaving Bolinao with lots of unforgettable memories. This place indeed have so much to offer and is unique from other parts of the Philippines. Not so touristy... less crowd... feel like a local...
Bolinao can be the next Backpackers' destination!

PS: Supposedly, we are including Hundred Islands to this trip but due to time constraints and the limited trips to Manila, we decided to go back to Victory liner terminal in Alaminos to catch the Manila trip instead.
