[SIDE TRIP] MANILA : Intramuros Pasyal, Car-less Sunday in the Walled city

Fort Santiago circa 2013
Viva Manila is a community organization sharing the love and appreciation of Manila's tourist belt. The tourist belt is from Quiapo, Binondo (Chinatown), Escolta, Intramuros, Luneta, Ermita, Malate, to Cultural Center.

This group have a Facebook account to share the current events and the coolest things happening in Manila. One of the recent event that they organized on certain Sundays of the month is Intramuros Sunday Pasyal. This event prohibits cars from access to some cobblestone streets of Intramuros and encourage local and foreign tourists to come over, share and enjoy what Manila has to offer. From food, goods, travel agencies, activity to entertainment, Intramuros Sunday Pasyal has them.

This project was a success and has been re-done until the succeeding months since I come. If in Berlin, they have an area with street performers; this project by Viva Manila could start this attraction to encourage tourists and locals to appreciate Pinoy culture and arts.
