It is not a surprise that the Philippines will be chosen as home of different Survivor series. One of which is Palaui. Jaw-dropping sceneries... Uncontrollable environment... Unknown wildlife... Coves... White sand beaches... Islands... Its beauty is quite raw and tourist spots are not that crowded.

Palaui can be reached by plane to Tuguegarao city via Sta. Ana, Cagayan. Then, by boat via San Vicente port, the last port of northern Luzon.

In this trip, we will traveling to Tuguegarao via Cebu Pacific air and back to Manila via Cauayan airport. We did not realized that there is not much to see in Cauayan.

I will be sharing with you our sample itinerary for this Palaui. Even if we spent most of the time traveling, this is a MORE relaxed one.

1300   Van enroute Sta. Ana
1630   Arrival at Balai Cagayano; Check in

DAY 2

0600   Check-out; Off to San Vicente port; meet boatman
0700   Start of tour; Arrival in Cape Engano
            Anguib Beach
            Punta Verde
            Snorkeling
            Gotan mangrove forest and waterfalls
            Crocodile island
1300    Back to San Vicente port; freshen up
1400    Catch van bound to Tuguegarao
1800    Arrival at Tuguegarao terminal; dinner
1830    Van enroute Cauayan
2130    Arrival Cauayan city proper
2200    Check in Amity hotel
2300    Lights out!

DAY 3 

0700   Wakeup call
0800    Go to Cauayan Public Market for pasalubong
0900   Breakfast
0930   Check-out; bound to Cauayan airport
1055   ETD Cauayan
1150   ETA NAIA T3        


This part of the country has a very huge potential to be a travel destination especially for backpackers, who are searching for places off-the-beaten path.
I believe there are still attractions in Tuguegarao city that my sister and I was not able to see. Making that a reason to come back once an airplane ticket promo is available. hehe
