SAMPLE ITINERARY and CONTACT DETAILS : PALAWAN, Puerto Princesa and El Nido, for beach bummers

Palawan is Philippines' last frontier. It has been regarded as such because of its vast range of flora and fauna. Tourism greatly contributed to the growth of Palawan's progress. People all over the world must have 'visit Palawan' in their bucket list, I think. I want to see it myself.

I came to Puerto Princesa and to El Nido with my friends and hiking buddy Dane (second timer in El Nido). We would to have a DIY trip to El Nido however we knew that there was a new pricing posted for day tours in El Nido due to the influx of tourists. Since we are 5 in a group, we decided to get a package tour for P6,500 per person covering all tours except are meals for our 3 day stay in El Nido.

With a short notice from Tiger Airways, our flight got earlier instead of after lunch. This made lot of us not be able to come to work instead of filing a half-day.

Here's my sample itinerary with a short city tour of Puerto Princesa and 3-day adventure in El Nido

1130 - ETA Puerto Princesa Airport
1200 - Lunch
1300 - City tour
1600 - Robinson's Puerto Princesa
1630 - ETD Robinson's for El Nido
1900 - Dinner
1930 - continuation of travel to El Nido
2330 - ETA to Lualhati cottages, El Nido
0030 - lights out

DAY 2

0700 - Breakfast (included in tour package)
0900 - Tour A
         - Small Lagoon,
         - Big Lagoon pictorial inside lagoon ,
         - Lunch @  Simizu Beach,
         - Seven Commando Sunset viewing and beach bumming
         - Entalula Island
1700 - Return to hotel
1930 - Dinner in El Nido town proper
2030 - buy snacks and DVD (for movie night)
0000 - lights out

DAY 3

0700 - Breakfast (included in tour package)
0900 - Tour C
         - Matinloc shrine
         - Tapuitan island
         - secret Beach
         - star beach
         - helicopter island
1700 - return to hotel
2000 - Dinner in El Nido town proper
2300 - lights out

DAY 4

0700 - Breakfast (included in tour package)
0900 - Tour B
         - Snake island
         - Codugnon Cave
         - Cathedral cave
         - Pinagbuyutan island
         - south Pangulasian island (snorkeling area)
1630 - return to hotel
1900 - back to El Nido town proper for pasalubong hunting
2130 - lights out

DAY 5

0300 - back to Puerto Princesa
0700 - Breakfast (included in tour package)
1030 - ETD for Manila via Tigerair
1200 - ETA Manila - NAIA 4
