[TRAVEL - DAY 2] PALAWAN: Good morning El Nido; start of beach-bumming escapade!

With the ring of the alarm clock, its GOOD MORNING EL NIDO! Call time is 9AM. We had breakfast before that. behind our room was towering limestone formations.

behind our room

breakfast : Danggit-silog

While waiting for the others for breakfast, I noticed some baskets and containers near the dining area full of cashews. As Palawan is famous for its export-quality cashew nuts, the owner is also preparing the nuts to be sold. The tedious process of lightly roasting the nuts, pealing and brushing each piece, and making sure that the cashews remained whole throughout the process. A kilo of whole cashews amounts to thousand pesos.

While waiting for our guide, here's Lualhati cottages by day:

The guide arrived in the Lualhati cottages to pick us up. Off we go to the El Nido beach to hop on our boat for Tour A for today.

TOUR A (1,200/person - inclusive of lunch)

Small Lagoon - the boats dock far from the opening of the lagoon hence we swam towards the lagoon. If you have extra 900 pesos you can rent a kayak for two persons and paddle your way exploring the lagoon.

Big Lagoon - has always been the famous back-drop of any El Nido trip the hue of the turquoise waters compliment the sturdy limestone formations.
